Football Game Preview: Moreno Valley Vikings vs. Citrus Hill Hawks + How To Watch

Moreno Valley has won six straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Citrus Hill has won six straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Vikings will host the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. The matchup will give Moreno Valley their first taste of in-conference action this season.

On Thursday, Moreno Valley came up short against Chaffey and fell 38-30. The loss was the Vikings' first of the season.

Moreno Valley might have lost, but man, Syree Matthews was a machine: he rushed for 219 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries. With that strong performance, Matthews is now averaging an impressive 101.2 rushing yards per game.

Meanwhile, Citrus Hill blew past Indian Springs, posting a 44-13 victory. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 20 points or more this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Moreno Valley fell to 4-1. As for Citrus Hill, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Moreno Valley won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, slipping by Citrus Hill 21-20. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
