Milton came tearing into  Tuesday's  matchup with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past the Seckinger Jaguars  6-4. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered  a  10-5  loss the last time these two teams met.
 Avery Miller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and three unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Elizabeth Wilkes, who  went 3-for-4 with three  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Millie Morris, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
Milton's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Seckinger,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 6-5 record.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milton will welcome Chamblee  at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Seckinger, they will be playing at home against North Gwinnett  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 0.8  runs per game  this season, so the Jaguars' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
