For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Heritage and Ridgeland meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Heritage Generals walked away with a 3-0 win over the Ridgeland Panthers. The Generals haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Heritage pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ridgeland, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.

Heritage will have a chance to go back-to-back against Ridgeland: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
