Softball Game Preview: Marion Wolves vs. Clear Creek-Amana Clippers

The Marion Wolves will challenge the Clear Creek-Amana Clippers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Marion hasn't scored more than a single run for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Marion managed to slip by Iowa City the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolves lost 12-0 to the Little Hawks on Friday.

Clarksville typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Clear Creek-Amana proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Indians 8-2. Considering the Clippers have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Clear Creek-Amana, their win bumped their record up to 16-3.
