Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hobbs). They never let the Roswell Coyotes get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Tuesday. The score was close at halftime, but Hobbs pulled away in the second half with five goals.

Hobbs' victory bumped their record up to 9-4-1. As for Roswell, their defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hobbs is set to challenge their familiar foe Clovis at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Roswell will square off against rival Carlsbad at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
