Baseball Recap: Midland Comes Up Short

Midland lost to Stark County on Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Timberwolves might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-6 to the Rebels, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Midland's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Stark County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Midland will face off against El Paso-Gridley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Stark County, they will venture away from home to square off against Princeville at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
