Softball Recap: Miller Grove Falls Short of Hardaway in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Miller Grove can now relate to. They came up short against the Hardaway Hawks on Wednesday, falling 16-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wolverines have suffered since September 15th.

Anazji Gordon made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Armonie Morrison, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Miller Grove and nudges their season record down to 17-3. As for Hardaway, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10.

While Miller Grove had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
