Softball Recap: Fossil Ridge Takes a Loss

Fossil Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-1 to the Millard North Mustangs.

Briella Myers made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Fossil Ridge's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-7. As for Millard North, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Fossil Ridge will face off against Wayne at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Millard North, they will challenge Elkhorn South at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
