Basketball Recap: Garfield Picks Up 24th Straight Win at Home

Garfield had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the King/Drew Golden Eagles by a score of 46-37 on Thursday. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 37-25 loss the last time these two teams met.

Garfield's win was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points over those games. As for King/Drew, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-14.
