Softball Recap: Tiftarea Academy Triumphs

Tiftarea Academy extended their postseason success on Thursday against Piedmont Academy. They had just enough and edged out the Cougars 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since August 8th.

Tiftarea Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maggie Vickery, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Chloe Brand also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Tiftarea Academy's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Piedmont Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-21.

As of now, neither Tiftarea Academy nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
