Softball Recap: Leedey Has No Trouble Against Mooreland

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Leedey and Mooreland, and Leedey kept the tradition alive. The Bison were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Bearcats on Thursday. Considering the Bison have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Leedey pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Mooreland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Leedey didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Caney on the 22nd. As for Mooreland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-2 defeat against Granite on the 21st.
