Softball Recap: Marlow Gets the Win

Marlow's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Little Axe Indians. The victory continues a trend for the Outlaws in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won three in a row.

Kate Doughty was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Grace Lovelady was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Marlow's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Little Axe, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Marlow will take on Coweta at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Little Axe, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Harrah on the 21st.
