Softball Recap: Cedartown Comes Up Short

If Cedartown was riding high fresh off their 12-4 takedown of Woodland on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs came up short against the Allatoona Buccaneers on Monday, falling 9-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since September 5, 2024.

Cedartown's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Allatoona, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Looking ahead, Cedartown is taking a road trip to face off against Trion at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Allatoona, they will square off against Dalton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
