Soccer Recap: California Comes Up Short

California entered their game against San Ramon Valley on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The California Grizzlies came up short against the San Ramon Valley Wolves, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Grizzlies haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

California now has a losing record at 4-5-4. As for San Ramon Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

California will challenge Livermore at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. California is facing Livermore at the right time seeing as Livermore is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for San Ramon Valley, they will host Granada at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Granada's last seven contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
