Softball Recap: Moore Beats Piedmont for Their Third Straight Win

Moore barely beat Piedmont the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 16-3 victory on Thursday. 16 seems to be a good number for the Lions as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The victory (which was Moore's third in a row) raised their record to 21-6. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Piedmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-13.

As of now, neither Moore nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
