Basketball Recap: Livingston Drops Season-High Score on Beyer

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Livingston). They were the clear victor by a 59-36 margin over the Beyer Patriots on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Elizabeth Avila had a dynamite game for Livingston, shooting 5-for-9 from long range and dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Avila is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Dalia Castro was another key player, going 6 of 13 on her way to 12 points and seven boards.

Livingston was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Beyer lost, don't look at Kylie Kulina. Despite the final result, she posted 22 points. With that strong performance, Kulina is now averaging an impressive 17.5 points per game.

Livingston's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7. As for Beyer, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Livingston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-29 loss against Grace Davis on the 9th. As for Beyer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 76-53 win against Central Valley on the 9th.
