Football Recap: Gahr's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Gahr waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 16-6 victory over the Lynwood Knights. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Gladiators also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

One reason for the win was Gahr's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Marc Saldana was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with ten.

Gahr now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Lynwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Gahr wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 27-13 loss against Norwalk on the 17th. As for Lynwood, they have also already played their next contest, a 35-0 win against Firebaugh on the 17th.
