The Newark Memorial Cougars will face off against the Irvington Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Newark Memorial and four for Irvington.

On Saturday, Newark Memorial came up short against Piedmont Hills and fell 48-36.

Despite the loss, Newark Memorial saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mai Weeks posted ten points.

Meanwhile, Irvington didn't have quite enough to beat Tracy on Saturday and fell 51-49.

Newark Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Irvington, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
