Football Recap: Klein Forest Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Klein Forest extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 2-7. They were outmatched by the Klein Collins Tigers and fell 41-8. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 28-14 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

James Robinson and Dejaune Etheridge certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Robinson threw for 202 yards and one TD, while Etheridge picked up 84 receiving yards and one touchdown.

As for Klein Collins, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.8 points over those games.

Klein Collins got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Da'Marcus Jones out in front who rushed for 85 yards and one score on only seven carries. Another player making a difference was Braydon Schoggin, who threw for 117 yards and one touchdown while completing 87.5% of his passes.

Coming up, Klein Forest will square off against Tomball at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Etheridge and Ian Thomas. Klein Collins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
