Baseball Recap: Carver Comes Up Short

Carver managed to slip by Shaw the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Raiders on Tuesday, falling 19-5. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carver saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jamari Evans, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Evans has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. X'Zyon Farrow also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Carver's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Shaw, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Shaw beat Carver by a score of 19-5 later that day.
