Basketball Recap: Foothills Christian Victorious

Foothills Christian won the last time they faced Mountain Empire and things went their way on Thursday too. The Foothills Christian Knights snuck past the Mountain Empire Redhawks with a 24-20 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Despite the defeat, Mountain Empire saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bibi Caceres posted 12 points.

Foothills Christian pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.0 points over those games. As for Mountain Empire, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.

As of now, neither Foothills Christian nor Mountain Empire have any future games scheduled.
