Baseball Recap: Lyle/Pacelli Has No Trouble Against Medford

It was a proper cat-fight when Lyle/Pacelli faced off against Medford on Wednesday. The Cougars put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 7-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Lyle/Pacelli is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Medford, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Coming up, Lyle/Pacelli will square off against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Medford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
