Football Recap: St. Clair/Loyola Comes Up Short

St. Clair/Loyola lost against Waterville-Elysian-Morristown back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. St. Clair/Loyola lost 32-6 to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown. While losing is never fun, St. Clair/Loyola can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while Waterville-Elysian-Morristown is ranked 34th).

St. Clair/Loyola dropped their record down to 3-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Waterville-Elysian-Morristown, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Coming up, St. Clair/Loyola will head out to face off against Fillmore Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons' defense has only allowed 9.4 points per game this season, so St. Clair/Loyola's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Waterville-Elysian-Morristown, they will challenge Blue Earth at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
