Softball Game Preview: Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union Royals vs. George-Little Rock Mustangs

The Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union Royals will square off against the George-Little Rock Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union will be strutting in after a victory while George-Little Rock will be coming in after a defeat.

On Friday, Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union earned a 7-4 win over Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Royals.

Meanwhile, George-Little Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of West Sioux.

Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for George-Little Rock, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.
