Baseball Recap: Bowdon Makes It Five in a Row at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Model, Bowdon was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Trion Bulldogs 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Red Devils have posted since February 21st.

Bowdon's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Trion, they moved to 11-4 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Coming up, Trion is taking a road trip to take on Armuchee at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bowdon will be paying especially close attention to Trion's matchup: after Trion faces off against Armuchee, they'll take on Bowdon again at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
