Head-Royce is 4-0 against Making Waves Academy since February of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Head-Royce Jayhawks will challenge the Making Waves Academy Marlins at 3:00 p.m. Head-Royce is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Thursday, Head-Royce earned a 4-2 victory over Saint Mary's.

Meanwhile, Making Waves Academy can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They and Ygnacio Valley finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Marlins' first draw of the season.

Head-Royce pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three contests. With that draw, Making Waves Academy's record moves to 0-3-1.

Everything went Head-Royce's way against Making Waves Academy in their previous meeting back in January, as Head-Royce made off with a 7-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Head-Royce since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
