Soccer Recap: Newton Comes Up Short

Newton was the 4-1 winner over Fort Madison when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals came up short against the Bloodhounds on Friday, falling 7-0.

Newton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-5. As for Fort Madison, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-6-2.

As of now, neither Newton nor the Bloodhounds have any future games scheduled.
