            The New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners will challenge the Logan Longhorns at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
New Mexico School for the Deaf is headed into the  contest after thoroughly thrashing Dora: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Roadrunners blew the Coyotes out of the water with  a  60-19 final score. The  game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  34-6.

 New Mexico School for the Deaf's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Santiago Lopez, who picked up 97 receiving yards and three  scores, and also rushed for 85 yards and a pair of  TDs. Lopez is also crushing it when it comes to  rushing touchdowns: he's   punched in at least two every time he's  taken the field this season.  Zion Holmes was another key back, gaining 129 total yards and four touchdowns.
 Meanwhile, Logan faced Roy/Mosquero in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Longhorns breezed past the Blue/Lady Blue to the tune of  66-0. Winning may never get old, but the Longhorns sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
 The  victory  got New Mexico School for the Deaf back to even at 3-3. As for Logan, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
 New Mexico School for the Deaf was dealt a bruising  62-7 loss at the hands of Logan in their previous matchup  back in November of 2024. That  matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Roadrunners were down  50-7.
