Basketball Recap: Trinity Classical Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Trinity Classical Academy and Segerstrom squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Trinity Classical Academy had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 48-47 to the Segerstrom Jaguars.

Trinity Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 24-5. As for Segerstrom, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

Trinity Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Segerstrom, they will challenge Notre Dame Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Notre Dame Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Segerstrom likes a good challenge.
