Football Game Preview: Corona del Sol Aztecs vs. Desert Ridge Jaguars + How To Watch

The Corona del Sol Aztecs are taking a road trip to square off against the Desert Ridge Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Corona del Sol ended up a good deal behind Queen Creek and lost 28-14. The Aztecs have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Desert Ridge played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 69-16 loss at the hands of Red Mountain. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona football rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Mountain Lions are ranked ninth).

Desert Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Corona del Sol, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Corona del Sol skirted past Desert Ridge 20-17 in their previous meeting back in November of 2022. Will the Aztecs repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
