It was fun while it lasted, but Dougherty Valley's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Saturday. They came up short against the Granada Matadors, falling 4-0. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Dougherty Valley fell to 3-1. As for Granada, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dougherty Valley will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on California at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Granada, they will be home for the holidays to greet West at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Granada has yet to allow a single goal through six games this season, a streak West will look to end.
