Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson vs. Cedar Falls

Jefferson is 0-4 against Cedar Falls since April of 2017 but things could change on Monday. The Hawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Tigers at 6:45 p.m. Jefferson's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Saturday, Jefferson and Wapsie Valley finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw. That draw made it three straight for Jefferson.

Meanwhile, Cedar Falls played to a draw too, finishing 2-2 against Washington.

Jefferson's draw gives them a new season record of 2-10-5. As for Cedar Falls, they moved theirs to 11-4-2.

Jefferson might still be hurting after the 10-3 defeat they got from Cedar Falls when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
