Softball Recap: Northview Takes a Loss

Northview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Norcross Blue Devils, falling 24-8. On the bright side, the eight- run effort marked the Titans' highest-scoring match to date.

Reese Cook made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those doubles marked the first that she has hit this season. Alexandria Bombard was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Northview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Norcross, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northview will venture away from home to take on Chattahoochee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Norcross, they will head out to challenge Meadowcreek at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
