Soccer Recap: Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Central Catholic lost against Sierra back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Central Catholic Raiders came up short against the Sierra Timberwolves, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 654th, while the Timberwolves are ranked 131st).

Central Catholic dropped their record down to 4-9-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Sierra, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-3-2.

Central Catholic has already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Patterson on the 24th. As for Sierra, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Manteca on the 24th.
