Baseball Recap: Kennard-Dale Comes Up Short

Kennard-Dale suffered their biggest loss since March 24th on Monday. They lost 10-2 to the Big Spring Bulldogs. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Rams, who until this game were averaging 3.19 runs allowed.

Kennard-Dale saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Holmes, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Holmes has launched this season.

Kennard-Dale's defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Big Spring, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.

Kennard-Dale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Big Spring, they will head out on the road to square off against East Pennsboro at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
