Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Macon County's offense. They came up short against Crisp County on Tuesday, falling 10-0. Considering the last time Macon County couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Macon County has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four games. As for Hawkinsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.

Hawkinsville couldn't quite get it done against Macon County in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Red Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
