Soccer Recap: Seaside Comes Up Short

Seaside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Stevenson Pirates, falling 5-0. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pirates earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Seaside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Stevenson, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2-5.

Seaside didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Santa Catalina on the 7th. As for Stevenson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against King City on the 7th.
