Recap: Florin vs. West Campus
Sadly, the Florin Panthers are still looking for their first win of the season after 14 matchups. Their tough 9-0 loss to West Campus on Friday might stick with them for a while. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Florin of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Florin's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-14. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only scored zero goals over those three games. As for West Campus, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-4-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Florin will take on Foothill at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Florin's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 12 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for West Campus, they will be playing at home against Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Campus will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.
