Softball Recap: Glidden-Ralston Comes Up Short

Glidden-Ralston has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.48 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They lost 11-1 to the Woodbine Tigers. The Wildcats have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Glidden-Ralston's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Woodbine, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-7.

Glidden-Ralston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodbine, they will square off against Newell-Fonda on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 3.4, the Mustangs 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
