Basketball Recap: North Star Takes a Loss

North Star was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were dealt a 45-6 defeat at the hands of the Conemaugh Township Indians. The game marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

North Star's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Conemaugh Township, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-10.

Looking ahead, North Star will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Meyersdale at 7:15 p.m. As for Conemaugh Township, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Windber at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
