Soccer Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Kern Valley's Fourth in Last Five Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rosamond, Kern Valley was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They never let the California City Ravens onto the board and left with a 5-0 win. Kenadie Young was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Kern Valley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those five contests. As for California City, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11-2.

Kern Valley will head out to take on Bishop Union at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Union will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Kern Valley surely won't give up without a fight. California City has already played their next game (against Rosamond), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
