Soccer Recap: Bellevue Comes Up Short

Bellevue was the 3-1 winner over Clayton-Ridge when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Comets fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Bellevue have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bellevue's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Clayton-Ridge, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bellevue will welcome Monticello at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Clayton-Ridge, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Postville at 5:00 p.m.
