Helix has gone 9-1 against Granite Hills recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Helix Highlanders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Granite Hills Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Helix and three for Granite Hills.

Jordyn McMillan put forth a good effort for the losing side as she dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards. Maylana Mantoux was another key player, putting up no points in addition to eight rebounds and three blocks.

Meanwhile, Granite Hills was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 31-27 to Academy of Our Lady of Peace.

Helix will have to contain Kerstena Tomika as she made an impact in Granite Hills' last game. She posted 15 points.

Helix's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Granite Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-13.
