Softball Recap: Duchesne/Roncalli Comes Up Short

If Duchesne/Roncalli was feeling good fresh off their 14-1 takedown of Benson on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Duchesne/Roncalli came up short against the St. Cecilia Bluehawks on Saturday, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against St. Cecilia this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 two weeks ago.

Duchesne/Roncalli saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Londyn Scebold, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Duchesne/Roncalli's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for St. Cecilia, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Looking ahead, Duchesne/Roncalli will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Mercy at 6:30 p.m. As for St. Cecilia, they will venture away from home to take on North Platte at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
