Softball Recap: Window Rock Takes a Loss

Window Rock was the 13-3 winner over Tuba City when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Fighting Scouts fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 7-6 on Saturday. The Fighting Scouts just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Paisley Begay made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Jaselynn Young also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Window Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Tuba City, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-10.

While Window Rock had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
