Football Game Preview: Bennett Clippers vs. South River Seahawks + How To Watch

The Bennett Clippers will face off against the South River Seahawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Bennett has struggled recently with seven losses in a row, while South River will arrive with nine straight victories.

On Thursday, Bennett came up short against Wicomico and fell 27-14.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South River). They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 57-6 win over Northeast. Considering the Seahawks have won seven matchups by more than 26 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Bennett better keep an eye on Benjamin Raines. The dominant performance also gave Raines a new career-high in passer rating (157.9). Another player making a difference was Jaden McDuffie, who picked up 93 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Bennett's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for South River, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.
