Softball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Pueblo West

Pueblo West waltzed into their contest on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans as they made off with a 13-3 win. That's two games straight that the Cyclones have won by exactly ten runs.

Marlee Baca tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single walk in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Acelyn Duran was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Payton Odell was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.
