Basketball Game Preview: Woodland Christian Cardinals vs. Trinity Wolves

Woodland Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They took down Fort Bragg 54-40.

Meanwhile, Trinity had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Dragons by a score of 50-41.

Trinity's win came from a few key players Woodland Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Braelynn Nugent, who posted two points along with 11 boards, seven assists, and seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kloe Kist, who shot 46% from the field to rack up 17 points and three steals.

Trinity smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 18 consecutive matchups.

Woodland Christian's win was their 15th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37.8 points. As for Trinity, their victory bumped their record up to 24-7.
