Carson Tovey posted a new career-high in points on Tuesday. He went 6-for-9 en route to 20 points and five boards, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Coming up, Tovey and Viewmont will be taking part in a tournament against Clay County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 43 places lower in their respective states), but they're not letting that get them down.
