Soccer Recap: Carroll Comes Up Short

Carroll came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the North Polk Comets, falling 4-0. Carroll haven't had much luck with North Polk recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for North Polk, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-4 record this season.

Carroll has already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against Kuemper on the 15th. As for North Polk, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against Baxter on the 16th.
